Saint-André-Avellin is a municipality in Quebec (Canada), located in the Papineau regional county municipality (RCM) in the Outaouais administrative region.
The name Saint-André-Avellin is a tribute to surveyor André Trudeau (1792-1842), who in 1832 divided the farm lots occupying part of the La Petite-Nation seigneury, the area of which would become the future parish. He was the son of Toussaint Truteau and Marie-Louise Papineau, sister of Louis-Joseph Papineau, seigneur of La Petite-Nation. However, the name Saint-André-Avellin evokes Saint André Avellin.
Saint-André-Avellin lies 13 km north of Papineauville, east of Saint-Sixte and Ripon, on the banks of the Petite Nation river.
Route 321 runs through the municipality.
